NZS: 4211 requires that all window manufacturers label each and every window and door unit they make. Any untagged window or door is likely not compliant, therefore likely to be unsuitable for use in its intended setting.

As a JMF member, we tag our windows and doors with JMF branded tags which offer authorities and consumers peace of mind that the joinery is made to the highest of standards. Our tags also let you know the wind zone the joinery has been designed for as well as it’s air leakage grade.

JMF is supportive of local authorities checking and enforcing the use of NZS: 4211 labels on all new builds and renovations.
