JOBS available - JOINER/CABINET MAKER

Bates Joinery is a mid-size joinery manufacturer, supplying kitchens, wardrobe, shop fit outs, custom joinery as well as timber windows and doors. We are a bespoke joinery factory producing a wide variety of work.

We are looking for a joiner/cabinet maker to join our team. You will be expected to have capable experience and knowledge of the industry. You must have a good standard of workmanship, be able to work un-supervised and also work well in a team environment.

​

Requirements are:

​

• Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and plans.

• Attention to detail and produce top quality work within set time frames.

• Have a responsible approach to Health & Safety.

• Good inter-personal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.

• A high level of reliability and honesty.

• Have a tidy appearance and be physically fit - position involves some heavy lifting.

• A current and clean New Zealand driver's license.

• Be able to work overtime.

• Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a long term NZ work visa.
